Dalefield School is a small rural primary school in the settlement of Dalefield in the district of Carterton, New Zealand.

Nestled at the foothills of the Tararua range, we find ourselves in a unique and special environment. Our children flourish in the small family environment of the school, and they're encouraged to be part of the wider community.

Historically, the school has catered for the rural community of Dalefield, but in recent times, more parents are choosing smaller schools for their children’s’ education, and are favouring the individual and safe nature of education in a small rural school. Children from across the wider Wairarapa region travel to Dalefield School to take advantage of the exceptional education and enriching lifestyle it offers.
